Parliamentary Expenses

As Member of Parliament, I am allocated expenses to allow me to conduct my duties both at the constituency and within the House of Commons.

Expenses cover items such as rent for my office, travel between the constituency and Westminister, stationary for my office and staff to assist me.

The Independant Parliamentary Standards Authority regulates the expenses which I can claim and you can view all my expense claims by visiting www.parliamentarystandards.org.uk. This site also holds further information about the expenses scheme.

    If you are a resident of the Eastbourne constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

    If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
